Associated Auto Centre Limited (AAC) is a joint venture company between Associated Motors Limited, Sansora Group Limited and A. Jiwa Shamji Limited. It was established in 2003 and operates fully fledged sales and service outlets in Nakuru and Kisumu. AAC is a leading member of the General Motors (EA) Limited fraternity and has a customer base that is spread throughout Kenya. Some of its clients include Nakumatt Holdings Limited and James Finlay (K) Limited. The Company is run by an independent management team comprising of qualified and experienced managers, sales personnel, and technicians. All have obtained in-depth training in their relevant fields from GMEA and are focused towards providing satisfaction to the customer. Some of the Products that are marketed and by AAC include the famous Isuzu N– Series and F-Series trucks and buses, the Chevrolet Optra and Aveo, and the Opel Corsa pickup. The Hummer H3 and the Chevrolet Captiva are also due to be launched in Kenya in September 2007 by GMEA and AAC. AAC is also proud to inform that the Kisumu Workshop is one of the most modern in Kenya and has been designed to minimize damage to the environment. It is the only environment-friendly service centre in Western Kenya that is registered with NEMA. The shareholders of AAC are committed towards the empowerment of women in Kenya and consequently have made a conscious decision to have the Kisumu Centre management team comprise mainly of women. |
